Nursing Foot Care

This comprehensive 5-day course combines both theoretical instruction and clinical practice.                                   

At the end of this course, the nurse is prepared to provide foot care in either private practice or in a health care setting.

Devon Foot Care programs offer a unique method of training as the entire course is conducted within a resident care facility (either assisted living or continuing care).

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to identify and understand causes, prevention and treatment of common foot disorders. You will understand factors affecting foot health and be aware of foot care within the scope of nursing practice. Practical advice on establishing a private practice is emphasized. In order to be successful, participants must complete a clinical practice component and an open-book examination. Students will be provided with the required text upon registration. No instruments are required to be purchased for the course.
